The purposes of the SJTUFA are to
- Promote information,

other entities in the United States;
- Sponsor the
recruitment of academic and management staff from
the United States for Shanghai Jiao Tong University;
- Support the
educational, scientific, cultural, and charitable
activities of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and
related organizations;

Tong University in providing excellent educational
opportunities for all of its students and in
